But the good news is there are ways to ease that pain and feel better during your pregnancy. In this blog post, we’ll share three tips to help you ease back pain during pregnancy.

Tip #1: Posture

Your posture plays a significant role in how you feel during the day and at night. During pregnancy, getting enough sleep is essential, and pillows can be your best friend. Using a pregnancy pillow or extra pillows from your knees down to your ankles can take the strain off your back and align your body properly, reducing pain. During the day, pay attention to how you sit and stand. Adjusting your posture from arched to neutral can relieve tension in your back muscles.

Tip #2: Strength and Stretch

During pregnancy, your body is changing, and you need to pay attention to what your body needs for strength and stretching. Using a theob ball can help improve stability and mobility. Using your core, pelvic floor, and abs for strengthening can help relieve pain and prevent future injury.

Tip #3: Support

Wearing supportive belts such as an SI belt or belly band can provide additional support to your pelvis and your growing belly. These supportive bands can help relieve strain and pressure on your back muscles.
